Guitar Hero: World Tour (Xbox 360) Review

Sweet Home Alabamy.
Guitar Hero: World Tour is the first entire band in the game for Guitar Hero and it does kick ass. The graphics got a lot better from where we last saw Guitar Hero (with Aerosmith). For the graphics, I prefer RockBand, but I prefer the customization in World Tour though. Soundtrack includes songs from Jimi Hendrix, Ozzy Osbourne, Lynyrd Skynyrd, R.E.M., Willie Nelson, The Doors, Van Halen, even Michael Jackson. I love this soundtrack, but there are a few songs I think that should have been early DLC for the game. Gameplay is the same but for the Guitar (and bass) players, you got to worry about hitting more notes known as slider gems, which are clear coloured notes you can hit on the slider part of the new Guitar Hero guitar. So, for World Tour, an amazing soundtrack, beautiful graphics (but not as good as RockBand), awesome customization, and some new gameplay, DLC & more. I'm giving Guitar Hero: World Tour a 8.5 out of 10. It would have been a 9.0 if Sweet Home Alabama wasn't a live recording.
